Swansea City star Joel Piroe is reportedly a target for fellow English Championship club Nottingham Forest. This is according to the report from media outlet Planet Swans which stated that Nottingham Forest would make a move for Piroeif they secure a place in the Premier League next season by beating Huddersfield Town in the Championship playoff final this weekend. Nottingham Forest booked their place in the playoff final by beating Sheffield United over two legs, while Huddersfield Town got the better of Luton Town over two legs to seal a place in the Championship playoff final.

Nottingham Forest will need to make a return to the Premier League for the first time in 25 years if they are to make a move for Dutchman Piroe. Also, securing a Premier League spot by beating Huddersfield Town in the playoff final on Sunday will give Nottingham Forest the chance to keep their players including the in-demand Welsh international Brennan Johnson in addition to pursuing their transfer targets such as Swansea City attacker Piroe.
