Swansea City wingback Ethan Laird believes that the Welsh club has the capacity to be the one of the best teams in the English Championship. The Manchester United loanee made this known in an interview with the official website of Swansea City. Laird is on a season-long loan at the Championship club from Premier League heavyweight Manchester United having joined the Swans at the start of the season.

Swansea City manager Steve Cooper was left frustrated after the performance of his players during the 2-1 defeat to hosts Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium on Wednesday night. Steve Cooper, the Swansea City boss has said that he has set a target for Rhian Brewster for the rest of the season after the incredible loan spell from the striker till now.

Sunderland currently has most of its players out of contract and the other players will need to prove their talent to get a spot in the team. Sunderland doesn’t know what League it will be participating in the next season but manager Phil Parkinson is quite sure about which players he wants on his team in the future.
While there are 11 more games to go, Sunderland is still looking for promotion to the Championship. Regardless of which division the Black Cats are going to be placed in the next season, every player would have to be working hard in order to remain the part of manager Parkinson’s plans.
