SWANSEA TARGET PREMIER LEAGUE RETURN

Welsh football giants Swansea City can return to the Premier League after three seasons in the English Championship if they see off Brentfordin the most expensive single game in football, the Championship playoffs final. Swansea City and Brentford meet in the final of the playoffs at the Wembley Stadium this weekend and the winner of the £170m match will join Norwich City and Watford as the three promoted teams ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Swansea City saw off a spirited Barnsley in the semi-finals of the playoffs, while London outfit got the better of Bournemouth in the other semi-final. Swansea City finished the regular season of the English Championship this term in fourth spot, while Brentford ended the campaign one spot higher in third spot. Brentford had seven more points than Swansea City at the end of the regular season in the English Championship.
